Madonna
Madonna in the Church is an oil painting by the Dutch painter
Jan van Eyck . The Madonna, as Queen of Heaven, is adorned with jewels and a crown. The child held by the Virgin Mary presses the hem of their dress in his hand, which, according to Byzantine tradition from the 13th century, expresses tenderness. In the wooden tracery of the arches behind the Virgin Mary, there are scenes from her life. The play of light and Eyck's feeling for colors are remarkable.
Prevailing color of this fine art print is vivid and its shape is tall. This image is printed on demand - you can choose material, size and finishing.
