Like a number of other paintings from around the River Marne, which Cézanne created around 1888, and there his admirers and critics presents a very clear and convincing rendition of water, which reaches mirror image of the shore of the tranquil surface. On canvas works primarily with greenish-blue color, the tone darkens a bit to try to capture the depth of the river. Color vybočujícím total building is small in the central zone on the right image. There are contrasting Cézanne applied red roofs and generally lighter shades facade.
