Tall trees in the foreground draws the viewer into a wonderful and fantastic landscapes in the background, where the coastal plain and jagged mountains create a stunning scenery. People are baking a piglet on the left, on the right they are ice skating. The fire not only adds warmth to people around him, but the whole image, because its color contrasts with the otherwise gray color ot the painting.
