Eugene Boudin (1824 – 1898). Jeden z prvních francouzských krajinářů. Maloval zejména mořské scenérie. Obdiv si získaly jeho pastely pro svou krásu a úspornost malby. V Paříži se Boudin přáteli s Monetem a účastnil se výstav impresionistů. Sám několik ocenění Salonu získal. Rostoucí renomé mu umožňovalo cestovat a malovat i v zahraničí.
